(1,435 posts)They should have targeted the TP CONGRESS for the country's lack of progress, on jobs, deficit, taxes.
They should have put up strong Dems who stand for the people and against "you are on your own" philosophy.
I realize that Obama was in so much trouble, he needed practically needed all the money raised, because he didn't defend his record
in 2010, he decided to fight in late 2011 because HIS job was on the line.
It is up to the people in their own districts, to know what their reps are doing and whose side they are on. Listen to a news program once or twice a week. They know the mvp in the world series, but not the mvps in their lives. Look over here bright shiney object, don't pay attention to what is going on over there in your political interests.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
