Home to some of the home grown militia and survivalist groups that are anti-Government. I wonder how they will handle Made In America computer chips and jobs coming their way as they curse Joe Biden in the same breath.

Voted for Obama twice, Hillary, and Joe as well. Progressive mayor and city council. A blue patch in an otherwise sea of deep red.

But will repubs in Idaho ever vote blue? Doubt it.

It was initially a manufacturing plant, but over time has evolved more toward research and development. As far as chip and semi-conductor production goes, it's a good location for being up and running in short order as a production facility.

There are really two Idahos. Boise (along with Moscow, Ketchum / Sun River, and parts of Pocatello) represents the "lesser" blue part. Everywhere else is a massive stretch of deep red, voting around 4-1 Republican. Politically, Boise weighs in considerably further left than the state as a whole, voting "blue" in most state, local, and national elections. The city's mayor, city council, and local state legislators are a far cry from the batshit crazies that predominate in most other areas of the state.
