How sweet it is! Our president is actually human. Who would have thought?

(4,982 posts)He's smooth, he's cool, he's a badass, he sings, he dances, brews his own beer, he's funny as hell, smart as a whip, intelligent, competent, compassionate, he connects with people, handsome as all get-out and Michelle is stunningly beautiful and also very intelligent, compassionate, well-spoken, etc. etc. Their kids are well-behaved and cute as can be - they're a great family and easy to be very proud of.

(9,893 posts)Arsenio Hall is back on the tube, so maybe a reprise is possible. I think that Bill enjoys playing, and it would be a good excuse for him to do some practicing. Maybe Bill could do it for a worthy U.S. charity.
I still have a bumper sticker from the 1993 inauguration that says "America rocks with Sax and Sox." It was a great party. I had tickets to the Arkansas Ball. Let me tell you those ol' boys sure knew how to have a good time! We had Seals and Crofts (sp) first, and they were good, but when Gary "U.S." Bonds came on the boots and tux crowd all used champagne bottles as guitars and did the Chuck Berry.
I ended up at an after party with a bunch of Connecticut house members who had come over from the New England ball because the Arkansans had better music and a looser attitude.
I'm originally from the sticks and I like "country cool" so I was in my element.
I'm sure that there are similar stories from the Obama 2009 inaugural and that more will turn up after the Obama 2013 inaug.
