If he succeeded in stealing this country's most sensitive secrets, could he have stolen a bomb?
Or helped an enemy smuggle one or more into our country?

4. Would TFG steal one to use as leverage against us ,
As a threat, or allow an enemy to put one or more inside our country to threaten us with them.

7. Oh... well, yes. I hadn't thought of that. Though in my defense, none of us can
really keep up with his deviancy. That's why we have to band together. You think of one thing, I think of another.
Yep. If he could do that, he would. |

6. No
Security is way too tight and far too many people would have to be involved. And even if one was stolen, each bomb is equipped with a Permissive Action Link, which is an access control security device that prevents unauthorized detonation.

are 2 far, far different things.

in the protection of the nation's nuclear arsenal, weil, I do and I can confidently say that Benedict Donald did not steal a warhead.

32. Apples & Oranges
A nuclear document weighs a couple ounces and can be hidden between the pages of a magazine.
A nuclear device, even a small one, weighs between 30 and 2,500kg. Sneaking one out is much harder than you are surmising. |

27. I'm with you on this
My very first thought was that we should leave the conspiracies to the Q-heads.
I do think, that due to the nature of the materials found in TFGs possession, there is a lot we will never know about those materials. Such is the nature of national security. |

8. How would he steal a bomb, and by bomb, I'm guessing you mean a nuclear warhead.
It's not like he could just put one in his briefcase and walk out with it, like he did with those docs. he stole.
He would have to have a multitude of people in cahoots with him, he would have to have the arming codes, he would have to have........well, you get the picture. No, Benedict Donald didn't steal a bomb, but as far as allowing a hostile country to bring in a bomb, who knows, but I highly doubt it. |

12. Yes, thank you.
The only thing I could see him finding a way to steal would be if it was if it was a small tactical weapon. But, as you point out, he'd still need to be in cahoots with multiple people. The entire system would have to be run by burrowed Trumpsters for him to pull off something like that. It is not.
But, yes. Letting a hostile country smuggle a dirty bomb is not out of the realm of possibility. However, we have been preparing for that sort of thing for the past two decades. I agree it's not likely he can pull off something like that. |

I never would have dreamed how high up in our government has been corrupted. General Flynn and his brother and likely more. Anything could be possible with enough corrupt people involved.

25. Movies have given people the notion
Nuclear weapons are just kept in cages secured with padlocks. You can just drive up in your pickup with a bolt cutter and take one.
Then activation is simply a matter of setting the digital timer on the side and pushing the conveniently located red button to start the countdown... |

23. Yes, it is well known
There is a nuclear closet in the White House where they keep half a dozen bombs for the President to use. He could have put one in an old pillow case. Hopefully the cleaning staff has counted to be sure they are all there.
He could also easily have helped enemies. As President he could have ordered customs to stand down for 24 hours and not inspect any shipments arriving in the US. With no inspectors on duty our enemies could smuggle hundreds of weapons into the country and no one would be the least bit suspicious. Also he might have accepted a gift of a large wooden rabbit, given under curious circumstances. |

33. No need
You know the old phrase “the pen is mightier than the sword.”
Some of the information he stole will - not “could” but WILL - fuck up our foreign relations for decades. It’s going to take a very long time to regain the world’s trust after the President of the United States, the most trusted job there is, stole information about other countries and shopped it to adversaries of those countries. That’s worse damage than even a Tsar Bomba could do. You can rebuild buildings pretty easily. Trust is a different story. |
