17. I all ready ordered 2 dozen doughnuts..............

from a local family owned bakery, for me and the 5 others working the polls on Tuesday here in PA. Working are me, my brother, 2 of my neighbors, a friend of 20 years and a retired police officer.

Our precinct in a decidedly democratic neighborhood, though in the 2008 primary we saw some changes to the republican party, and they remained with that party in the 2012 primary.

The retired police officer is the first contact for voters, she is extremely happy that ID's don't have to be produced. We do have one voter (tea bagger) who can be a thorn in our sides. However we do have a constable who works our precinct, he can take care of her if we need her removed from the polling place.

For all poll workers on Tuesday, be safe and remember the sugar high can be maintained all day.
