An interesting article in the Financial Times, a reputable and reliable source in my opinion.

Although I happen to support the British Monarchy for a number of reasons, I am aware that there are those of us who don't.

The article, provides a fairly comprehensive examination of the Crown's wealth, how it was obtained and how it is managed. It is lengthy but well eorth the resd.
