Breaking breaking BROKE- the Slobfather has been indicted
And then malaise grabbed a wine glass, ran to the fridge, took out that bottle of Blue Nun, opened it, 3/4 filled the wine glass - said cheers, took a sip, rested it on the table, grabbed the container with home-made chocolate-coffee walnut fudge, jumped up and down and giggled like a three year old and began the celebrations with her Florida sibling and regulars at DU😀😀☺️☺️☺️
Wont be long. Have a nice day.
That is all.

When you celebrate a joyous event, go all the way.
A glass of Kahlua might go well with that ice cream dish.

(7,794 posts)Brought back memories from my hippie days when I classed my act up and went to Boone's Farm, then chianti and then Mateus. What a social climb that was! I still can't hear the phrase "ripple in time" without a smirk.

(298,743 posts)My mother had been exposed to these things in Europe and England, dad in England so they introduced us as kids. Dad liked Chianti, but I was not impressed.
I did love good Scotch as I grew up - my brother used to call me and water - my chaser of choice -then it was beer or Blue Nun.😀😀😀

(11,313 posts)I dated a lovely lass my junior year of high school who would only drink Blue Nun. Needless to say, this horndog spent countless hours and dollars (gas was $.30 a gallon) trying to make sure I had a supply. The 22yo neighbor behind us was our alcohol purveyor at $5 a trip. All the junior alcoholics would get our lists and money together and twice a week reload our car trunks. Then in '69 weed came along and the rest is....I can't remember...

(28,493 posts)Has there actually been an indictment?
People here have been predicting on a daily, even an hourly basis that he will be indicted soon, real soon. Hasn't happened yet. Is that a clue? What are the actual odds he'll be indicted? 12 million to 1 is my best guess.
Keep in mind that Nixon did not die in jail, as he should have.
Poor people are always indicted, tried, convicted, spend years in jail for various things. People at the top? Never.

(4,128 posts)Im still amazed at just how far these clowns went to steal the election. Not only that, but so, so many from near and far, some allegedly smart folks (not Mike!) and some even lawyers have been caught up in Trumpian lies. Great to see the widespread effort by the FBI and the J6 committee to investigate, indict and find guilty those miscreants. Id also like to see a current billboard so to speak of each person either charged by the FBI, had their phones taken or are under suspicion. Would take 3-4 full newspaper pages, both sides, by now!
