Immigrants being shipped to Martha's Vineyard could do much worse. House should take money away from

states doing this and increase Federal payments to states receiving these immigrants and make this a part of immigration reform.

While the GOP will use this to pit some blacks against immigrants, it should give them more reason to vote against Republicans.

Also, the states receiving these relocated immigrants should seek and be granted disaster relief.

This also should turn a fair number of pretty well-off men and women of all stripes against the GOP.

Most vacationers will find them to be great future citizens.

6. This makes no sense. What are they supposed to do from Oct-Apr? I think it would be better

to provide options to locations where there is housing and year round employment. There are plenty of large and small cities in MA that I think would work.

I am on the Cape and while we need seasonal workers, this place is desolate Oct.-Apr. Businesses shut down not because there are no workers but because there are no customers.

After all they've been through, they need a safe place and some chill time to situate themselves. One season may not be sufficient.

There should be a second language taught in all public schools. When I was in grade school, we were taught French because we were near Francophone Canada and there were a lot them in our state. The language education began in second grade. I had classes in French for five years there but we moved further away from the border and it was optional in jr high but there were three other languages offered through high school; French, German, Spanish, Latin.

You can also graduate with a doctoral degree in this country without ever learning a second language.

They were sent there because that's where Obama vacations. It's trolling.

They'll go to Boston or Providence where there are services, housing, and jobs.

DeSantis is an asshole.
