(4,149 posts)and probably on the others, is untenable. I fully expect the 11th Circuit to overrule her. But she will have achieved a significant process delay in the governments investigation. She may have also allowed Trump to hide any additional documents he did not return.

(4,846 posts)TFG will delay again and repeal all the way to the SC even if the 11th circuit overrule her. IMO, the delay is unavoidable.
Not saying I agree with the decision or that TFG should be able delay and delay again. But sadly, that's our judicial system.

(4,149 posts)is overturned, but I actually think SCOTUS wont take the case. As people have said, if Cannons ruling stands as precedent then anyone whose premises have been the subject of a search warrant will be able to request a special master. The result would be chaos.

(54,068 posts)What she's really cutting off is access to the particular physical copies of those files.
With the government can't analyze is any physical evidence there that might be on those particular copies to indicate who has seen them. What they can't analyze is the fingerprints, hair fibers, ketchup smears, or other paper, notes, or artifacts blended into the physical files that might be tray who has been in possession of them.
