Nothing much more to add. It took me a bit off guard...also has revived my interest in some of the theories. That is all...

buildings BOTH crumple, AND, wasn't it a bit unlikely that they both crumpled to the ground, straight down, as if it was a demolition rather than an accident? You'd think at least one - if they both fell over at all - would've fallen over to one side, or at an angle.

Still doesn't convince anyone this was a controlled demolition. 3 buildings all the same day, but to never happen before or after. LOL! They call us crazy. It's amazing how other WTC buildings stood even though a shit load of debris fell on them. I guess they were built stronger. LOL!

I want to know how our biggest defense building can be hit by a passenger plane in broad daylight and most accept the blurry video on a base that should have had hundreds of cameras everywhere. But I guess those that question shit that doesn't make sense is crazy to some Bush believers. Yes Billions on defense, but we can't handle a plane that was known to be in the area. I call the non believers crazy. I look at them like a Faux News viewer.

Only problem is, to answer those questions puts us in a pickle. It would undermine the way the entire world looks at us.

Still shots of the towers coming down show them being blown to bits. A collapsing tower would not have hundreds of thousands of shards flying in every direction. And then you have WTC 7. The most definitive piece that only someone in complete denial could possibly overlook.

There are questions. Many questions. But to answer them would be a huge issue of national security. Unfortunately.

I mean, where did it go? All you ever saw was the burned out pit in the field, and no plane debris? My husband used to be involved in search and rescues all the time with plane crashes, and he even said this was like no "plane crash" he ever saw. Also, why haven't more videos of the plane hitting the Pentagon released? All very questionable. I'm don't consider myself a "truther", but some of these questions should be obvious to anyone with a wondering mind.

Mon Nov 5, 2012, 12:22 PM
Nov 2012

I kind of fell into it for a moment during its heyday. Strangest thing was the ones really pushing it were people to the far right of Bush. Guys like Alex Jones(and Ron Paul by his silence sitting there) talking about how immigrants were bringing in the Bubonic Plague and such. Part of the reason I decided to get as far away from it as possible. Those who were following those conspiracies are now putting out a lot of the "Obama, Born in Kenya and is a Communist" videos that are popping up. So if some righties try using that as a reason to justify their conspiracy stuff....let them know that it was their own side promulgating it for the most part. Part of some far left groups during the time period and they would dismiss any discussion of it out of hand...stating that our own horrible foreign policy since after World War 2(and the economic policies we've used to justify our actions) are more than enough dirt without getting down into the weeds.

"Fortune favors the well prepared." The Neo-Cons with their Project for a New American Century reference to a "New Pearl Harbor" certainly were well prepared when the attack came. (Rumsfeld wanted to invade Iraq in the immediate aftermath, despite being told by Richard Clarke and others that Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9-11.)

He was in the Guard. I was talking to him shortly after 911. I'll never forget him telling me that he reenlisted the day before the attacks. In his words "I knew immediately I would be going to Iraq." Said despite most of attackers being from Saudi Arabia, and Bin Laden being in either Pakistan or Afghanistan he knew exactly what the neocons would do. Pretty sad. Luckily, he came back alive, served with Veterans for Obama....and will be voting for him tomorrow. I honor the fact that he followed through on his commitment....despite opposing the war itself. And that he is now a vocal opponent of the "America should control the world" mentality.

...that so many of you have got beaten into submission when it comes to questioning the events of 9-11. I don't claim to know what happened, I do know that no reasonable person could look over the facts, put them next to the official story, and not laugh. Any student of American and global history knows that there s no such thing as a warlike people, only warlike leaders. For this reason, people have always needed to be led to war, in most cases by an overexaggerated or completely false premise - a big lie.

If you study who the neocons were in Bush's cabinet, the papers they published in the years prior to 9-11 which outlined their agenda and desires....if you know America's history of lying our way into wars, the military's history of false flag terrorist attacks both abroad and home...and you DON'T look at 9-11, an event that happened just 9 months into these man gaining powerm, with a sceptical eye....it's you who is incredibly naive.

For a long time, even questioning wasn't allowed on DU. Even to whisper that it may have been MIHOP (made it happen on purpose) or LIHOP (let it happen on purpose) meant the thread was sent into the conspiracy dungeon. There's been more tolerance lately, on questioning the official line, with some of the latest info leaks.

I for one, do NOT believe we have even begun to scratch the surface of the truth about 9-11.

26. The official story "The 911 Commission"
Mon Nov 5, 2012, 12:45 PM

doesn't even discuss WTC 7. Half of those involved in putting together the 911 Commission were on record stating that there were coverups, lies, and so forth.

I haven't given up on Americans realizing that something happened that day that involved many explosives and demolitions. But I have come to realize that the government will not acknowledge those issues. At least not any time soon. National security comes before the truth when it comes to the government.

The fact that Obama allowed Bush and Cheney to skate tells me everything I need to know. The fix is in.

'coincidence theorist.'

I'd still like to see the money trail revealed for the surge in all the airlines and stock brokerage stock options trading in the days before 9-11. Suggests at least the possibility that people with advance knowledge of the attacks traded on that knowledge ahead of the attacks. And if people had advance knowledge, that means there was a far-wider ranging conspiracy.

28. Exactly

so many strange coincidences. In the fear that was induced on that day, I can understand how the general public can be duped. Fear is a powerful tool. It can make people think and do many things. But once the fear dissipated, it became clear that the official narrative (as provided by the media and the government) did not mesh with what occurred. Never in the history of steel buildings has one collapsed due to fire. 'Coincidentally' three steel buildings collapsed due to fire on 911. It boggles the mind that there are people who can't see thru the bs.
