There are about 200 million working age adults in the US

Assume...
About 50% are conservative.
Assume about 50% of those people are hard core
Assume 1 out of 100 are true extremists
Assume 1 out of 100 are willing to be violent
Assume 1 out of 100 of those are savvy enough to evade detection

That amounts to potentially 50 violent terrorist attacks.

You can monkey with the presumed percentages but the there are such large numbers, it just seems inevitable.

I live in a rural area and the only people that I trust, from a political perspective, are my black neighbors. Judging by the Facebook posts that I see, ALL of the people that I went to school with are right-wing nut jobs to one degree or another. I just stay on my little island and keep my mouth shut in order to survive; no bumper stickers, no yard signs, no public displays of my leanings.

That is what survival looks like in Rural North Florida.
