(26,917 posts)I got my flu shot today n will get my booster in 2 weeks. The pharmacist told me about a new pneumonia shot that has a protein that is more solvent than the 2 shot I got a couple of years ago. Ive had pneumonia twice in my life n think I should get that, too. What do you think or have you heard of it?

(19,745 posts)He hasnt ever had a reaction to all our Covid vax and boosters. Each time I had extremely sore arm, chills, fatigue and just felt bad for 36 hrs. So I was expecting the same with the bivalent. Instead, all I had was the very sore arm!
Good luck!

(10,635 posts)as did my wife and we had absolutely no side effects whatsoever.
We even felt confident enough to attend a Michael Bublé concert in San Antonio last weekend amid a sea of unmasked people. We put the mask on and off a few times, but mostly off.
BTW, Bublé was AWESOME. A really good show with jazz, rock, pop, swing, classics, originals. He's got a 40-pc band that really kicks ass.
Next month: new flu shot

(10,333 posts)If I got my first two shots (Pfizer) and my booster (last year, around December), should I still go ahead and get this new booster? It's been hard for me to find much information about this new booster and who exactly should get it.
Also, as a second question, if someone got the two shots of Pfizer but never got a booster, should they get the old booster + new booster? Or just opt straight for this new booster?
Thanks if anyone is able to help me out.

(17,506 posts)I got the first 2 shot vaccine, then a booster 6 months later, but not the 2nd one, decided to wait until the new version came out. Got that one today after nearly a year since the original formula booster, but this will be the last one for me.
