Man pleads guilty to breaking windows, security cameras at Planned Parenthood clinic in Grants Pass

A man who broke windows and security cameras at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Grants Pass because he opposed abortion pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of violating the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.

Devin Friedrick Kruse, 27, of Grants Pass admitted he broke five security cameras, a window and a sign at the clinic on Nov. 23 and then returned three days later and threw a concrete block through one of the windows, tore down an intercom system and broke several lightbulbs, according to his plea agreement.

He told officers who arrested him that taking unborn children’s lives was wrong and that all Planned Parenthood facilities, which provide reproductive health services, needed to be shut down, according to the agreement.

“The First Amendment does not allow individuals to violate the civil rights of others. In this case, Mr. Kruse’s destructive and intimidating acts prevented women from accessing vital reproductive and pregnancy health services,” Natalie Wight, Oregon’s new U.S. attorney, said in a statement.

I am thinking he will somehow find a way not to pay back. No surprise Grants Pass is a very conservative town.

May not apply in all jurisdictions. Check with your local federal agencies to determine whether you live in a constitutional republic or a repressive theocracy.
