This with a background of a judiciary, especially the SCOTUS, that no longer rules according to the Constitution and only holds for Gun Rights and "Religious Freedom" (as long as you are Christian).
The will of the people and the majority vote will not matter,

All they have to do is corrupt the electoral college enough to declare "no clear winner" and then it goes to the House where's it's one-state, one-vote. And, if that fails, the GOP-led House can appoint a Speaker, whomever they want, and that person becomes the "acting President". No time limit on the "acting".
I don't have the skills or the means to leave this sinking ship, so I've already resigned myself to living as a rebel - agitate, disobey, sabotage, harass, and if attacked, hit back hard.
