Quite a few of the are actually, ha ha, fuck that, some of them are weak spineless selfish fucks who will sit there and let their party do immoral things to further their political ambitions and those are the better ones. Never met a single republican this hasn't turned out to be true with or worse and that includes the Cheneys, the McCains and the rest. The enemy of your enemy is not your friend.

interior monologue. As far as politicians are concerned, I only care about what they fight for, and what they vote for.

Republicans are unified in trying to obstruct any useful legislation that would help working Americans, and furthering any cause that will help the rich. They systematically tried to obstruct everything Obama did.

Anyway, I don’t see anything in your description of Republicans that I would call a positive attribute.

3. Sadly, I came to the realization that my late father

had a character flaw as a devout Republican. He was still alive when the babies were put in cages. It didn’t bother him, not the way it would have if they had been starving dogs. He loved dogs.

Anyone. ANYONE who lived through that disgraceful episode and looked the other way as a Republican is a BAD PERSON. Some of them used to be my friends.

We've had some epic verbal battles, but in the end, I still love them and I know they feel the same. There's too many years of shared history to just write them off. Believe it or not, they are not bad people. But they are sadly deluded about politics.
