He mentions reading DU. I cringe at some of the things certain people here say about him for his former TV show. Maybe that's why he used to mention DU more often. That's too bad, it is good exposure to his liberal audience

He did not catapult russian propaganda in the least. he did not advocate or support russia. he was clear he was going to say what ever he would on any other outlet, and thom had a lot of other media outlets. i think he was on it simply to grow his audience.

you guys make it seem like he was broadcasting commie propaganda for rt or something. that is not true. he Had total autonomy and total editorial control.

Thom's a professional journalist that adheres to the highest standards of journalism.

and back then russia wasn't any where near as monstrous and hitler-esque as pooty-poot is currently.

for what its worth. i gotta use my first amendment rights while we all still have them.

I'm a regular Hartmann listener when I'm commuting. He didn't change when he was on RT that I know of, but his presence there gave it legitimacy. At the start, it wasn't 100% clear that RT was a tool of Putin's disinformation efforts.

It's just a failing. Everyone has failings. Judith Miller failed. The NYT failed.

Nance deserves national recognition and should be a guest everywhere - Political Voices Network, MSNBC, PBS and others I havent thought of. She is a brilliant & considered writer and her voice resonates with most everyone! Yay!!
