Trumpworld is beginning to face its worst enemy: reality

https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/reidout-blog/trumpworld-worst-enemy-reality-rcna48929

In court over the past week, former President Donald Trump and others in his orbit have been forced to confront their worst enemy: reality. And the results have been devastating for them.

On multiple occasions, we’ve seen Trump and his followers forced to face unvarnished and legally inconvenient truths about their conduct, marking both a departure from the alternate realities they established for themselves and their arrival in the real world — with all its legal ramifications.

Trump’s legal woes are clearest of them all, and his ego has taken a vicious beating in court recently. Wednesday was especially tough.

New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil court filing on Wednesday alleged years of fraud, further eroding Trump’s portrayal of himself and his oldest children as elite and earnest businesspeople.

And things have been just as bleak when you consider his classified documents scandal.

He has been living in his own reality for a long time. His entire presidency was spent in his alternate reality. Now he's courting the Q people as he makes a last ditch effort to avoid our reality. Trump can't live in the real world. It's a challenge to his erroneous ideas and the world he has created for himself. If he is convicted of even one of the crimes he has committed and if he is punished for it, he might fall apart mentally. He is really a pathetic person.

and that's why I baked a tin of brownies and drank red wine: Judges are holding our democracy together.

So, magats can just stuff it. Judges don't care about magats.

A judge tells his attorneys to provide proof that he 'declassified' documents, and they are being asked to provide proof of their claim that the FBI 'planted evidence'. He has always been able to spew bullshit and no one has been able to get him to tell the truth. I think that is about to change. And it is his own doing.

She doesn't seem to adhere to those unwritten or unofficial rules. You know, those rules that benefit men usually to the detriment of others. She is motivated only by the law. If we're going to have a law then it must be equally applied to everyone regardless of gender or status.

Lying, cheating and stealing are usually against the law. Whether they be against state or federal statutes does not matter. If you break the law there there needs to be consequences. In the simplest terms, she's simply doing her job. And so far she's doing it very well.

Hopefully, a significant amount of that power will dissolve away, if not before the midterms then after when RW powers don't need him so much so immediately.

But before and a bunch of dispirited MAGAs would be much better...
