So far no reliable sources about this, so have to treat this as just a rumor, probably not true.

From Xi consolidating power, to his getting Covid, to learning that Russia is about to use nukes, to a coup. Or, just heightened security due to the upcoming CCp meetings.

Will be interesting to watch, though. We can always hope that Xi is being tossed under the bus for someone more practical.

16. Interesting. I was in China (actually at the Great Wall) in August 1991

at the time of the coup against Gorbachev in the USSR. We were damn near run over by 2 600 series Mercedes limo running about 70 mph on a little country road. We had no idea what was going on until we got back to the hotel and got a raw feed from CNN.

The Chinese were all a flutter over what was going on in the USSR. If this news is true, I can’t imagine what will happen there.
