Curious, apart from Obama, who do you most want to see win?

For me it's Sherrod Brown because I'm from Ohio. If I were from somewhere else it would probably be Elizabeth Warren.

There is something terribly wrong with him and I'm totally dismayed at how heavily he's being financed--I see at least 4-1 angry, weird, and ugly Robinson campaign signs to every DeFazio sign. Partly that may be that I'm in a pretty divided area of Springfield and it isn't always a good idea to post liberal signs. We had the back window shot out of our pickup (well, they shot the obama bumper sticker out, but it was on the window). Didn't change my voting, but sure made me think twice about bumper stickers and yard signs.

I do have a deranged neighbor with Robinson magnets on their cars, huge signs everywhere in their yard, and a little Romney sign.

82. Tammy Duckworth was BLASTED by progressives when she initially ran
Mon Nov 5, 2012, 08:46 PM
Nov 2012

as one of "Rahm's DINOS".

Since then she's quietly and effectively worked to prove her bonafides as a progressive (especially against Joe Walsh). Even as she's built her health and stamina up remarkably. She had a hard time with the campaign rigor since her combat wounds were still very, very severe (if I fault Rahm at all its because she may not have been 110% physically recovered). Now she's much more mobile and her fitness level is incredible.

I worked on her campaign when she ran against Peter Roskam (her campaign was always doomed to fail as Henry Hyde's seat) but I actually really like her personally. She's a lovely progressive.

There's a lot of great recs on this thread (Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown and others) but I feel a real connection to Tammy Duckworth and hope she pulls this off.
