Before dismissing Romney's economic plan, let's review it (FOR LAUGHS)...

Like most Republicans, he advocates less federal spending, except for defense. The motto for Republicans during this election cycle should be "ROMNEY, A CANDIDATE FOR CHANGE." During the debates, every time President Obama mentioned a political position he had taken in past speeches, Romney proved he was willing to change his mind. Through extensive research, since he changes his views so often, I have finally figured out his true strategy.

First and foremost, he will not raise taxes on billionaires. Obviously, he embraces "Trickle Down Economics." Reagan first put forth this idea and before we decide it is stupid, let us ask ourselves: Have we been patient long enough for it to work? He took office in 1981 and it has only been thirty years since we began this economic strategy. Maybe we should wait one hundred years for billionaires to let the tax breaks they receive "trickle down" into the economy; or maybe we can move to a desert and wait for rain to "trickle down."

Next, we must end this spending by "Big Government." We probably have too many workers in the Federal Buildings. I only had to wait three hours to obtain a new Social Security card today. They had two Federal Marshals at the door. Maybe we could reduce security and create more jobs by building a new Federal Building, after several right-wing terrorists overpower their lonely asses and blow the place to smithereens; but where would we get the money to build it? Maybe if we don't lay-off too many FBI agents, they could have a big cake sale to raise the money; and the best part of this plan is the FDA would also be suffering cutbacks, so they would lack the personnel to prevent the sale of foods to the public, which are not properly inspected by federal authorities. They could save even more money by making meat-pies from road-kill. Since tax-dodging Republicans do not like federal agents eavesdropping on their phone calls and monitoring their financial transactions, newly laid off workers at the NSA might be willing to help with the bake-sale, while they hunt other jobs, if Romney wins the election.

Now, we get to my favorite part Health care. We have all heard of Obama-care: but right here at Democratic Underground, I will introduce ROMNEY-CARE!

When I go to the Veterans' Administration Hospital, I usually receive prompt courteous service, unlike regular hospitals where you can bleed to death in an emergency room, while they make sure your insurance covers gushing neck wounds. There are lots of qualified workers at most VA Hospitals, who generally treat veterans with a great deal of respect and understanding.

Obviously, VA Hospitals have too many workers - so, after massive cutbacks in funding - with the Romney plan - veterans will soon have the right to bleed to death, while awaiting medical attention, just like everyone else. Less funding means we will soon have less health care providers in the private sector too, because many hospitals receive federal support on a variety of levels.

But back to the main points in Romney-care: Equal rights for veterans should become a primary plank in the Republican platform. Maybe, after funding is cut back enough for VA hospitals to become hideously overcrowded, veterans will also be forced to buy insurance or HMOs for private hospitals, so we can check in and bleed to death. Then, everyone except the ultra-wealthy will become truly equal. Many veterans fall into ethnic groups commonly called "minorities." Equality among minorities is an important issue. Finally veterans will gain true equality. Hey we were good enough to bleed to death together on every battlefield in the world since 1776. We're still good enough to bleed to death together in underfunded hospitals.

With all the federal cutbacks Romney has planned, you might think he intends to cut back on defense spending; but you are wrong. If we cut back defense spending defense contractors will not have as many opportunities to sell the government overpriced toilet lids and shoddy technologies that regularly malfunction, so defense sub-contractors can make billions fixing equipment that gives new meaning to the term "planned obsolescence." We might be spending $13.23 on each bolt on a Humvee door in Afghanistan; but I bet those doors, which should be armor-plated, are still made of fiberglass.

Is our problem BIG GOVERNMENT with too many regulations or is the issue a Hitler-like Big Lie with media focusing to little attention on the Big Liar?[mpe gpt yjr ,som vpstdr gpt yjr VOS]

With me being new people might get the wrong idea without even reading the OP. He reads this stuff and might post here so I won't give his name.
