So, what are we waiting for?

Why the delay?

Without naming names, it's looking more and more to me that "no man is above the law" is current b.s. Looking more and more to me that "equal justice under the law" is current b.s.

It's a sure thing... if I was found with slam dunk evidence of a crime the authorities-that-be wouldn't wait to charge me pending investigation of even more crimes. I'd be indicted already, and those other investigations would proceed, anyway.

If I was found with slam dunk evidence of a crime those authorities wouldn't wait pending some future political event. I'd be indicted already.

Justice delayed is propagation of unequal justice, period. We are not being justly served.

One reason to indict him is to get him to stop doing this shit, fucking criminal. Hope Roger Stone gets convicted and his pardon is used in his sentencing as a previous conviction

We might get some justice that we are probably never going to get.

Hard to imagine anyone is going to stop Trump from trying to overthrow the US govt.

He has the magats and scared elected officials... Thats it. But even if he lost some more support... How does that stop him from doing what he is doing?

The answer is... it does not. In fact, expect him to crank things up further when he is indicted... And he will be. But bringing it before it is ready will not do a single thing to stop him from what he is doing now.

You know it, I know it. If indictments drop before the midterms, the media would immediate push the narrative that the Dems were up to no good.

Better scenario: let the J6 Committee wrap up with a bang right before the midterms, let the midterms run their course, then drop all political pretense and go for the jugular, one by one, right up the chain of command, all the way to Trump and his felonious family.

Let's not give them one bit of arguable credit that this was politically motivated. The fact that Garland held off until after the election will attest to that.

The show will still be spectacular!

OR

If the Republicans win the mid-terms (God forbid), Trump will immediately throw his hat in the ring to insulate himself from criminal indictment. That would stymie Garland and leave us holding a very large and pustulent bag.

Best we indict before the mid-terms, because time is not on our side and Trump will play the media like a Stradivarius if he announces and then the indictments drop.

The sooner the better!

At this point, I'm truly torn as to which of those alternatives are superior in muting Trump to the extent he can be muted.

Would you be walking freely if you were caught with Top Secret documents? Would I?

Why is Traitortrump walking freely?

Arrest, interrogate, indict, convict, imprison. It's a slam dunk already from what is publicly known.

Continue investigating all the other shit, while the asshole is in jail.

I want them to pull the trigger on ONE indictment TODAY, let it start now, and continue suit by suit like one giant pissstorm spraying his frankensteinian puke yellow locks every day through eternity.

That's a solution we both can get behind.

As with many, many things--the devil is in the details. Even a "slam dunk."

So, using the sports metaphor: this is an instance where you only get ONE "shot" at this. We're NEVER going to get possession of the ball again.

Rushing the play could result in disaster.
