ABJ on Young's action toward Fanone: "You can hear his screams on the video. Screams
while hes begging I have children,' you choose to join in. You aid the others around you and help to hold him down."
MORE ABJ: "It defies understanding that the presence of your 16-year-old son by your side on Jan. 6 did not inspire you to curb your behavior in the slightest.
EVEN MORE ABJ: "You were not prosecuted for being a Trump supporter...You are not a political prisoner
You were trying to stop the singular thing that makes America America, the peaceful transfer of power. Thats what 'Stop the Steal' meant.
WOW: Judge ABJ with extraordinary criticism of Trump.
"The judiciary
has to make it clear: It is not patriotism, it is not standing up for America to stand up for one man who knows full well that he lost instead of the Constitution he was trying to subvert."

Sort of like getting spanked and then thinking that the spanking didn't overwhelm the pleasure of the illegal activity.

(40,722 posts)He's not being persecuted, he's not a political prisoner, he's someone who hates America. He's been brainwashed into a zombie for Chump. It will probably take at least 7 years in prison to get all that brainwashing out of his head.
Office Fanone has already said that his life will never be the same.
Let Kyle Young feel the pain he caused Fanone and other officers who were doing their jobs on January 6th.

(114,503 posts)I don't hold out a hell of a lot of hope for his son, I'm afraid. Daddy's absence is likely to turn him bitter that the world didn't just stop in its track and go his daddy's way, whatever the hell that was. I doubt his daddy had any plans beyond smashing, beating, vandalizing, and grabbing. None of them did, their orders didn't go that far.
I'm sure the guy is really sorry....that he got caught. He won't get much of an attitude adjustment in prison, but maybe seven years without that pardon he was expecting will do that for him.

(9,304 posts)And it's understandable. Both Amy, both three names, even the syllables in the same rhythm.
I don't know whether this will help (but it did me) - Amy Coney Barrett is the one who has a wild hair. And a coney, in heraldry, is a rabbit - you might say a wild hare.

(17,923 posts)power." Good for Judge Jackson. The peaceful transfer of power after bitterly contested elections is what makes our American experiment "exceptional," not all the patriotic-sounding bullshit these terrorists are always throwing around.
