The next time you see someone existing under a plastic sheet in the pouring rain or asking for help from a wheelchair in the burning heat do this. Please don't offer them assistance. Do this instead.
In accordance with TDEs, after you witness these folks in terrible circumstances, drive immediately to the fanciest neighborhood you can find. In that neighborhood find the most extravagant mansion. Then, put a 20 dollar bill in their mailbox.
There, fixed the problem.

(1,789 posts)Pizza analogies work as well. 8 people are locked in a place on house arrest. Every day they get an 8-slice pizza delivered. The same guy answers the door every day and proceeds to eat 7 slices. Then he cuts the last piece into 8 equal slivers and passes 7 of them to the other people. While eating his sliver he wonders how he can change the rules so he can get all 8 pieces.

(1,955 posts)A mom and 2 kids are stranded on the highway out of gas. Up comes a rich man in a hummer with a 100 gallon tank, he gives her 2 gallons. Then a DUer pulls up in a Saturn with a 10 gallon tank, he gives her 1 gallon of gas.
Hannity and the rest of hate radio will tell you the rich guy gave the most gas. but the truth is, they gave 2% of their gas tank, the DUer gave 10%.

He stood by a white multi-tiered wedding cake with chocolate on the top and some drizzles down the sides.
He poured a pitcher of chocolate sauce on top of the cake and none of it spilled over the side.
I can't find that video segment because it's on Tru-TV and only one small segment is on YouTube.

(7,897 posts)giving them more, and more, and more. Eventually you arrive that the point where they have so much of what everyone else needs that everyone else begins to die.
One of 2 things happens after that.
Those in charge continue this process and progressively more, and more people die because of it. (That is the plan after all).
Or
Some among those condemned to starve, or to watch others starve before they do come to the conclusion that this is not tolerable. When enough of them do that it leads to a 3rd set of events which may result in a grand barbeque.
I understand that Sacred Cows taste mighty good with a little sauce and some slaw on the side.

(6,390 posts)The idea that the wealthy getting more money and spending it to create economic activity is preposterous. No one has ever asked "why" they would spend it instead of reinvesting it in securities to make themselves even more wealthy.
I recollect one econ professor who was on a cruise and a person blurted out how much they pay in taxes. He stated, "Yes, that is a lot to pay in taxes. I wish I made that kind of money to pay those taxes".
