The Russian invaders are retreating chaotically and abandoning the north of Kherson region. Ukrainian defenders are chasing them to Beryslav.
Davydiv Brid, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Starosillya and other settlements have been liberated.
(Ukrainian Armed forces have advanced 40 miles in 2 days)

I don't know what shape the Kherson bridge is in; the Nova Kakhovka route crosses a hydroelectric dam - that is probably off-limits for both Ukrainian and Russian artillery.

Ukraine has delivered another strike on the Kakhovka Bridge in the occupied area in southern Ukraine, eliminating over 50 Russian servicemen and some 20 units of military equipment, and downing a warplane and a helicopter.
Missile and artillery units executed 290 fire missions, including hitting a pontoon crossing in Nova Kakhovka, two weapons and equipment clusters in the Beryslav district, three clusters in Kakhovka and Kherson districts, an electronic warfare system in the Krutyi Yar district, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system in the Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv region, and a weapons and equipment convoy in Kakhovka.
Another strike on the Kakhovka Bridge has been confirmed.

If the Russians were deploying a pontoon bridge in Nova Kakhovka , the main crossing has been compromised.

(33,310 posts)3. Yikes.
Hope they're being careful where they drop munitions. The bridge is directly adjacent to the dam structure.
Nearly all of Ukraine is on Google Maps street view - really enlightening.

It's the Russians that rely on mass fire to inflict damage.

Seems like they're losing ground quickly, how much of Ukraine do they still control?
