Breaking CNN: TFG asks Supreme Court to intervene in Mar-a-lago document case

CNN
Trump goes to Supreme Court over Mar-a-Lago search and seizure of documents
By Tierney Sneed

Former President Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to intervene in the dispute over materials marked as classified the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate this summer.

His emergency request with the Supreme Court is the latest example of the former President seeking to involve the justices in investigations that entangle him – at a time when the high court’s legitimacy in politically explosive cases is under intense scrutiny.

Trump is specifically asking the court to ensure that the more than 100 documents marked as classified are part of the special master’s review. The request, if granted, could bolster the former President’s attempt to challenge the search in court and have the documents returned to him.

Afterall, it's been 2 months since that news broke and about 2 years since he stole the documents.

If it's any other person, that person would be arrested by the FBI and grilled until that question is answered and verified.

Highly classified property should have been an even faster trip.

Tr**p doing this is putting SCOTUS in a very bad position.

They know that Tr**p is just using them because he stacked the court. However, they are not stupid and I don't think that they'll put themselves in a position to take on even more criticism than they are already dealing with.

They could redeem some credibility if they either don't take on the case and more credibility if they take it on and rule against Tr**p.

there should be. He automatically files appeal after appeal for no other reason than to delay the consequences and wear justice down.

There has to be a limit regarding abuse of the legal system.

If he decides to consider, it could go to the infernal shadow docket, they then could decide in favor of TFG with no explanation whatsoever. This is what the cons have worked for.

Obstruction of justice charge evidence. Joyce said Alex knew there was classified info and Alex lacked clearance, so refused involvement. Concealment of a crime is also a crime. These lawyers should turn states evidence to save their own hides.
