putin is in a bunker outside (way outside) of Moscow?

A friend in Romania sent me screen shots of the national news there which is freaking out about Putin going to a safe place with his family. Could just be paranoia...

but i finally found this online and dated today

https://www.business-standard.com/article/international/putin-in-a-bunker-outside-moscow-mulling-over-nuclear-decisions-report-122100400881_1.html

Thing is... I don't know much about business-standard.com so I don't know what to make of this.

5. my feeling is look at who is reported to NOT be going with him to the bunker

The people who might actually try to stop him from ordering a tactical nuclear strike... or the detonation of the nuclear plant at Zapoizhzhia.

If he were to die suddenly... I think it must be by palace coup.

If any Russian wants a future, they need to topple their bloodthirsty dictator before it's too late, for everyone.

4. Cheer up. It's not to defend against the US or NATO.

You won’t see this:

It’s to defend against Russians.

Do you remember when TFG fled to the bunker in fear? Of unarmed Americans.

with ICBMs headed to Moscow.

But I do expect that NATO will enter the war with conventional forces with an explicit warning that any further nuclear weapons would lead to MAD. Plus a demand to Russians to arrest Putin and turn him over for war crimes.

9. If the Germans had been successful at developing nuclear bombs

along with V-2 rockets...

I am certain Hitler would have used them against the allies in Europe.

And they came closer to that than anyone cares to think about.

15. Germany was not close to developing a nuclear weapon

When you look at the size and expense of the Manhattan project compared to the resources that Nazi Germany had committed it’s clear they were years away from building a viable bomb. They couldn’t produce plutonium, and they couldn’t enrich uranium at the scale required. Not only that but the enrichment facilities needed would have been so large they would have made obvious allied bombing targets.

And a day or two later Putin is seen delivering a speech in Red Square or at some conference. I doubt the rumors.

13. He's probably sleeping in a bunker for safety

From his own people, and others with WMD's. He probably emerges, gives speeches and attends conferences, then back to the bunker. I can't imagine he'd sleep well at his palace, with so many wanting him gone. Who can he trust? A bunker is safe.

How many oligarchs are left? Some of us hoped one of them might be able to get close enough to take him out; and many who died might have considered doing just that.

I understand why you doubt the rumors, but there's probably some truth there. I'm happy to think of him taking refuge in a bunker.

...he went to one of his homes outside of Moscow, near the mountains. This is in line with "Putin has cancer" stuff. Sure he probably can run the government from there and has a "bunker" of sorts.

There has been no evidence of them getting ready to fuel their missiles. Sure they moved some bombers and one of their nuke subs vanished. But that could be routine.

If Lukashenko suddenly starts hunkering down, then I would be worried as he will have gotten advance notice.
