(2,483 posts)I feel absolutely fine so far. My earlier covid vaccines made me tired and just sickly feeling, but this one hasn't.

(4,637 posts)They'll ask if you want the flu shot too. They gave me $5 to get the flu shot, I don't know why.

(39,222 posts)I kept putting it off. Conveniently, by the time I got booster #2 last week, it was the bivalent one. I went ahead and got my flu shot at the same time because I had not had one in two years. The night/day after was pretty bad. I had chills. I threw up. Everything hurt. While the booster was Pfizer and I had only had Moderna shots before, I'm pretty sure it was the flu vaccine that kicked my ass.

Mine was a couple weeks ago, my wife was last Thursday (I think).
I had a very slight side effect. My wife had none.

(11,114 posts)Got Covid and flu shot at the same time Monday afternoon. Got about four hours of sleep that night, because I was studying for a big exam. But four hours is fine for me.
Well! Pretty much white-knuckled it through the day. Every shot I've had has just been massive fatigue the next day and that unspecific "I don't feel well" feeling. You know. I don't have a headache, but I feel like I'm about to. I don't have a fever, but feel like it's coming. I'm not achey, but my muscles feel like they're about to be. By end of exam, there was that strong, "I want to go home, crawl under a blanket, and watch Netflix for a week," sense.
Sure enough. Finished last work call at 4:55p and was dead by 5pm. Woke up at 5am to garbage truck down the street and fled to get everything out in time.
Really good sleep, though.

Congrats on your shot. Hope you have a healthy and happy winter!
