Why does Trump want to see the secret documents??
It seems very important to hm.
Most commentators contend he wants to have his lawyers see them to prepare a defense if he's indicted.
But there may be two factors that make that preparation even more important:
1. He may not know what DOJ has collected since he's a terrible record keeper. He may even have hidden some documents outside Mar-a-Logo so he doesn't know what DOJ has compared to what he placed elsewhere.
2. He may had written on some documents which indicate a deeper culpability: indicating which sections he showed (or plans to show) to Saudi Arabia or Russia, which documents he might use to blackmail others like the French president, etc. His marks may be a bit cryptic (personal code) but he knows the FBI could easily figure them out.
