Anyone having an issue copying and pasting to this forum?

I copy text from media publications and try to paste it but it doesn't paste???

4. It always worked till recently and works everywhere else.

I tried to paste some WaPo text today, finally gave up. I can sometimes keep clicking on the cursor and finally get a paste. I'm working off a Mac mini.

5. Try using COPY and PAST from the EDIT menu, rather than Cmd-C and Cmd-V

8. I did something like that and it works.

I had been using the Chrome "edit" tab to both copy and paste, after highlighting, like I use everywhere. I didn't realize tapping the cursor in the post text box would open up a small window that has the paste option to select.

Works every time...

3. Sometimes I have the same problem, copy, paste, and nothing.

But I'm using an android phone, it can be quirky.

6. Get the imgur app...you can get most things.

7. No problems here on all kinds of Apple stuff.

Some sites use wildly obnoxious JavaScript that prevents you from copying stuff.

I have a problem on small touch screens selecting text with my fat fingers. Pencil improved that.

It could be a browser-related thing. Just my guess.

Or something in your system doing odd stuff with the clipboard.

Symptoms too vague to diagnose.
