(77,864 posts).... to get the money? Oh he can't because of the work he did for Trump he had his license
to practice law pulled.
Schadenfreude Pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune:
"Rudy Giuliani has admitted to Department of Justice investigators that he was bullshitting when, in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election, he said in a radio interview that hed heard rumors about the investigation into Hillary Clintons emails from active FBI agents.
The presidents personal lawyer admitted in a voluntary interview with the DOJs inspector general that he had not been in contact with any active FBI agents in October 2016, and stated that he had only spoken with former agents who did not have any direct or indirect knowledge of FBI investigations in October 2016, inspector general wrote in a report released Thursday, almost five years after the saga."

(131,242 posts)I especially hope to see Rudy doing the perp walk, which he basically invented when he was US Attorney for SDNY in order to publicly humiliate suspects.

(2,440 posts)Ive always thought Guliani is and was a fraud.
But look at how far he has fallen.
Once lauded as Americas mayor. And still given credit by many for saving NYC.
He used fascistic police tactics that largely targeted minorities. He also took credit for heroism performed by NYC FD and NYC PD and then did nothing when so many fell terminally ill due to the toxic dust cloud they worked in while searching for survivors of 911.
When his influence and popularity began to fade he became desperate. As his desperation grew any moral center hed had dissolved and it became clear that this was a man who would do anything for money.
When he tried to run for President it was a complete failure. His hard turn to the right and the stench of frantic desperation was so evident that he didnt get far in his campaign.
That he eagerly allied himself with Trump seemed almost foreordained. But he forgot that Trump is a user that doesnt pay his bills.
He doesnt have $225,000 Id bet.
So, now hell go to jail. He crapped all over everyone on his way up and now that he is falling theres no one willing to catch him.
This now resembles a greek tragedy detailing the results of hubris on a grand scale. There will be no deus ex machina for Rudy. And Trump will never pay his bill.
It would be sad if here was not so deserving of this fate.

(2,088 posts)Sounds like another crap tweet to get everyone in a tizzy about something that isn't really happening.
Which judge?
How does Duty To Warn know about this?
Does anyone really believe they're going to arrest him today?

The judge said hed set a new court date and let both sides reassess how much is owed before deciding what to do with Judiths request to hold Giuliani in contempt.
I have no desire to remand someone into custody until Im sure he truly has not fulfilled his obligation, the judge said.

The whole piece is kinda funny.

(1,789 posts)Just say you paid it. Also say you didn't pay because you don't owe it. Contradictions don't matter. Add in that it's a conspiracy by the left just for good measure. Keep saying stuff until reality gives in.
