So who on here is NOT voting in this election?

Don't be ashamed. Everybody can't always get to do something they want or should... sometimes that even means voting.
Possibly due to circumstances out of your control or even by choice, who is not voting this time around?

I'm glad I'm not one of them; I'm voting.

I'm technically a resident of Washington,
so I don't feel much need to vote.

I did donate over $1K to various campaigns, though,
and I figure that's better than a single vote.

However, my reason for voting is not because I think it will make a difference in the elections. It's because casting my vote is truly the one patriotic thing I do in my life. It is perhaps the only time and way that I can thank the people who gave their lives to allow me this freedom and privilege. When I enter the voting booth, I give this act as much respect and reverence as if I was at that moment standing on hallowed ground.

I mentioned once in another post that I take care of a blind patient. I filled out her early ballot per her instructions, completely opposite of how I would have voted, and then delivered it to the post office on my way home. I would never, ever dream of sabotaging another person's vote. Voter fraud and/or voter suppression, in my mind, is beyond a breaking of our laws... it is a mortal sin.

Ok, end of rant. I just felt that this was a good day to express this opinion. Thanks for listening.
