A Covid booster in one arm and a flu shot in the other. Hope I'm not debilitated.

(68,964 posts). . . . . said it was best to do it high up the shoulder. So she did that in both arms.
I got the shots at 9.45 this morning. It is now 8.00 in the evening. So far there is zero reaction other than a very mild headache which has been with me all day. Not even enough to take an acetaminophen.
i will check back tomorrow if this changes.

Both arms were sore the next day and gone the next. i did sleep more than usual, though. Relax and pat yourself on the back for your decision.

(103,806 posts)I feel sooo stupid! I had an appointment to get both today and I totally spaced it out! I got a phone call and forgot it, got another call after that and while I was telling my friend about how I was going to get my shots, I realized I missed my appointment by a couple hours! I got off that call and called the clinic and apologized for blowing it and rescheduled for next week. They only do it on Tuesdays.
I feel like such a jerk.
