about his Pardon of NIXON. The message of the gift (before the J6 committee convened) was: "The House DOES have POWER."
But to your point about the Supremes - it would seem (although precedents don't matter anymore) that a President *IN* office IS suscepitible to testifying, not to mention one OUT of office.
Question: Does somebody taking the 5th get to bloviate with opening statements and such without being questioned?

Call him a coward, who's afraid to testify, do it over and over. I guarantee he can be goaded into testifying under oath.
