siding with DOJ today and rejecting the Orange Ruski request to intervene in the classified documents matter is good news, we may find that the decision to subpoena him/request documents about 1/6 may be the excuse the cons on the SC or lower courts use to now intervene about any of the balance of the records. That may muddy the DOJ/Archives matter for awhile longer regarding things other than the classified materials. The cons may claim he now has a heightened need for those documents since they may pertain to requested testimony/production and any legal incrimination for him. I certainly would reject any such claims but the door may be open for Aileen (backwards, forwards, sideways) Cannon to go at this some more.
