To me, J6 evidence illuminates a whole range of criminality and misbehavior. Not just...

...not just wrt January 6 insurrection. After hearing testimony and seeing evidence, no one should doubt that TFG is completely capable of just about anything, including:

...coordinating and accepting help from foreign govts in 2016 and 2020

...firing the head of FBI to stop an investigation

...blackmailing Ukraine

...stuffing DOJ, DOD, and Pentagon with lackies who care more about power than the country

...armbending state officials to either overturn state election results or create fake electors

...cozying up to racists and paramilitary groups to create his own militia

...use the office for personal financial gain

...create a new world order to autocracies for personal gain (grand deal with Russia, SA, Qatar, UAE, Netanyahu, Turkey, others)

...use secrets to control members of congress (...Lindsey, et al)

...direct funds to friends and partners while taking a cut (covid, border wall, etc)

...stiffing everyone he can over the span of his sordid career

...lie about everything, everywhere, all the time

And more. These hearings should be added to all that voters have heard over the last 7 years with the conclusion being this guy is one of the worst humans on the planet...and also limited, sad, scared, incompetent.

2. A spree that Trump never planned to stop.

Had he won the last election, he would be working on how to stay in power after his 8 years expired. He is not only the largest criminal the nation has ever seen but the largest traitor, and that needs to be his lasting legacy.

Has stolen classified documents, who knows what he is doing with them.
And he is obstructing justice.

Probably committing other crimes we don't even know about.

Yes he has pulled off committing the crimes of the century.

of circulation by now. We still allow him to recruit his fascist followers with his same lies. Justice delayed is justice denied.

7. The US gov't doesn't know how to handle a psychopath ex-president.

They let him continue to commit crimes of a serious nature.

National security has been greatly damaged, lives are at stake.
He continues to encourage violence.

We have found out that rules for the highest levels of power are basically just the honor system.

It is disgusting to watch.

9. This is very typical of kleptocracies

Corruption at the highest levels is never held to account for breaking the law, stealing resources or appointing stooges and yes men.

The kleptocracy is still alive and feeding off our Nation.

10. Agree. Will add that the media and state of public discourse is so broken we can't

handle a discussion like this. Confusion, muddied issues, disinformation, apathy, polarization, hate.

It's not just the US govt. A healthy society would have never elected grifters and sociopaths in the first place, but if it happened by chance then we should have been able to process the information and come to general conclusion.

I don't think it's an accident that as a nation our public discourse and govt processes can't generally address issues, including a psychopath grabbing the reins of power. Autocrats and oligarchs have been working on it for decades.

13. We were sitting ducks for Putin/GOP information warfare.

Putin has been destabilizing the US for decades with the help of the GOP and American voter.

The GOP adopted all of the KGB talking points and tactics.

Exactly, if we were a healthy, sane, rational and educated public, none of this would have happened.

14. Yeah, and Russia is a kleptocracy too

Or, it use to be. I think now with the war, we are finding out Russia is just a dictatorship with trappings of a kleptocracy.

Putin and Russia have always been very good at espionage. That is their bread and butter. Look at how we thought Russia was such a powerful military but turns out they can't even pay their soldiers.

They use espionage on their own people regularly. They found out putting everyone in jail or murdering them in order to get them to obey was way too expensive. Instead they learned to manipulate their people and con them. That's one of the reasons why they have fewer people in jail then the US does.

They still use jail, terror and murder as their last resort on other Russians. But using espionage on their own people made them really good at using it on others.

So, they turned their well crafted espionage tools on the US. And the US was ready and willing because Putin had stolen a lot of money from the Russian people and he paid traitors well.

And capitalism run amuck is the US's bread and butter. Just look at how often the US wins the fake Nobel in economics to promote "free" markets. So when Putin started flashing the loot he stole from the Russian people, US political leaders and the US filthy rich welcomed being paid to betray their democracy. Afterall in the US, capitalist profit and wealth matter more than country.

15. Russia is chunk of land ruled by mobsters. The GOP wants the same thing.
Fri Oct 14, 2022, 12:08 PM

I think Russia is a kleptocracy and dictatorship.

Per Wiki:

Kleptocracy is a government whose corrupt leaders use political power to expropriate the wealth of the people and land they govern, typically by embezzling or misappropriating government funds at the expense of the wider population.

Putin is old school KGB, so all of those tactics are his hallmark. He is the richest man in the world due
to his theft of Russia's wealth.

Ad you said he had plenty of bribe money. The GOP was only too happy to sell out their country to the highest bidder.
And the oligarchs in a capitalistic society value money above all.

It means that justice will yet again be delayed as no one wants to be subjected to the political pressure of indictments and arrests "so close to an election". I say BULLSHIT.

Delaying plays directly into Trump's hands. It's his MO. It's all he's got, and if he catches a break, he may have just enough daylight and political cover to kick the can down the road.

I hope Garland does Comey one better. Indict this piece of shit NOW, elections be damned. Give him an inch, and he'll be around in 2024 to make us wish we hadn't.

11. He's not one of the worst humans
Fri Oct 14, 2022, 02:36 AM
Oct 2022

He is the worst human, ever.

He has not one redeeming feature. Everything about him is ugly and evil.

Think of the awful people through history, and most of them had at least one good thing about them to redeem them.

Stalin worked hard, 16 or more hours a day. I'm not saying I agree with the results, but he wasn't sitting in his office until noon primping his hair and putting on makeup, a girdle and high heels, and then whining all day about how mean everyone was to him. He got things done, many of them awful, because he was a workaholic.

Hitler loved animals.

Genghis Khan was religiously tolerant.

Ivan the Terrible, who was so awful he has Terrible attached to his name for all time, enjoyed composing music and writing poetry (really).

John Wayne Gacy did clown shows for kids and volunteered with the Jaycees.

Ted Bundy chased down purse snatchers.

Now try to name ONE redeemable thing about the Bewigged CornDog.
