Joe paying it forward

Zeke Miller @ZekeJMiller 45m
Biden made an unannounced stop at Tacos 1986. Pool: "Biden... took out cash to pay, asking, “What do we owe you?” POTUS was told he received a 50% "public service" discount. POTUS gave the cashier $60 & told him to give the next customer their meal for free."

He definitely wouldn't have paid for anyone else's food.

I get 4 beef burritos at roughly $3 bucks plus each, you're already looking at $24 or so, plus tax!

We don't go to Taco Bell as much anymore, you're almost better off going to a full-fledged Mexico Food restaurant and you'll get a better sit-down meal plus stuff to go when you have leftovers (you can't eat all of the food the restaurant gives you).

I'm not knocking Taco Bell, it's just the way it is now. I have noticed that the lines at Taco Bell aren't that sizable now (at least in my area).

But, hard to beat that craving for Tacos quickly, other than Taco Bell, since making tacos is a little time consuming.

that is a lot of greasy junk food

Martin’s order came to a subtotal of $25.40 and included:

1 Burrito Supreme with added guacamole
1 Nachos BellGrande with added jalapeño
1 large Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze
1 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme
1 Nacho Cheese Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch

to folks from the resto of the country. $25.40 is actually pretty close to what I suspected the subtotal would be - and, since it's a subtotal, taxes aren't included in it. Taxes could well add up to 10% and rounding would cover the rest.

And yes, that's a bunch of food, even if one item is a drink and another an appetizer.

It's 2040 calories just for lunch. Maybe if someone is intermittent fasting on one meal a day.

I think just the nachos and drink would be enough for me.
