Arizona poll finds Kelly leads Masters for Senate, Lake ahead in governor's race

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3686889-arizona-poll-finds-kelly-leads-masters-for-senate-lake-ahead-in-governors-race/

Democratic candidate Mark Kelly is leading in the race for Arizona’s Senate seat, while Republican nominee Kari Lake is ahead in the race for the governor’s mansion, according to a new poll released on Thursday.

The InsiderAdvantage-Fox 10 poll showed both Kelly and Lake leading their opponents by about 4 points, with less than four weeks left until the midterm elections.

Forty-six percent of registered Arizona voters said they supported Kelly in the Senate race, compared to the 42 percent who said they backed his Republican rival, Blake Masters. In the governor’s race, Lake led Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs, 49 percent to 46 percent.

debates are meaningless in my view anyway. I still think Hobbs wins. She needs to go hard on Roe and how Lake wants to overthrow elections. And I have heard that is what she is doing.

and if she wants to go hard on those issues a debate is another good spot to do it. Newsflash we have wacko liars running everywhere and she doesn't want to engage with the bullshit? We need candidates who can push back and do it effectively like Mayor Pete and Savvy Gavin.....not people who run away.

Lake may be getting the political oxygen now, but lets see what the voters tell us in November.

others on the panel (all very much anti Lake) all said the exact same thing. Palmieri said Hobbs is making the same mistake they made in the Clinton campaign in 2016, just trying to hang on at the end.

The POS Lake is everywhere, dominating the narrative. Hobbs is not, she is ceding the field atm.

She said what she came away with is Dems should be concerned. She talked about how captivating and mesmerizing Lake was to her audience. I think Jen was trying to point out that she was seeing the same thing in 2016 when she was on HRC’s campaign.
Hobbs should absolutely debate her. It might be in her favor. Most of us on DU follow politics religiously. A lot of folks don’t.

This woman is insane, dishonest and will destroy the State.
If Lake wins AZ will be given to the GOP in 2024. it is that simple.

because she possibly doesn’t want to go into the rabbit hole of election denying and whatever other crazy shit that Lake says, but that may be her way out.

Put on display in a debate that Lake is batshit crazy.
