What did Trump's Jan. 6 end game look like to him?
Leading Democrats murdered, vote certification stopped, rioting spreads across the land and Trump declares martial law that he would never rescind? There must have been some plan for the morning after.

1. Putin the Second
He was taking his cues from his handler, Putin, and would become dictator of the USA. I’m willing to bet most law enforcement would follow him and do his bidding

4. Interesting question.
My guess is that his plans did not go much further than having Congress declare him the winner so he could continue the grift and the self-pleasuring joy he took in being able to say, "I'm the president." He may have had reactions to protests like declaring martial law, but I don't think he thought that far ahead.

6. Miles Taylor who worked in the Trump administration,
and got to know Trump, stated that Trump wanted Congress members to be murdered, and it didn't matter whether they were Democratic or Magat members. Once Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, or declares martial law or both he drives up to the Capitol and permanently takes over.
Trump had many plans. One plan was he wanted his terrorist gang to steal the Electoral ballots. The only plan he was left with was a bloody insurrection. Let's not forget another plan that failed, what if those 2 pipe bombs had exploded. There is a reason Trump mentioned Antifa, he would have blamed the bombs on them and had another reason to invoke the Insurrection Act. Something we need to do is stop calling these domestic terrorists, militias. Militias worked for the federal government to put down insurrections, not to start insurrections. |

8. That makes sense - Trump would have used chaos to declare martial law.
Nancy Pelosi stayed calm. Her aids secured the ballot boxes. Mike Pence avoided being kidnapped. Certification of the vote resumed. The pipe bombs failed to go off.
We came very close to losing democracy. Scary. |

11. Miles Taylor would have better insight than I do.
Looking at it from the outside, I assumed he would have settled for having Congress change the vote via Pence and go back to business as usual on Jan. 20th.

14. Why the need for the pipe bombs
or ordering the National Guard to stand down, or putting Michael Flynn and Roger Stone in charge of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, why the huge cache of weapons and ammunition across the river?

20. Those pipe bombs seem to be obscured by the J6 focus on the Capitol breach.
I would dearly love to know what is going on in that investigation and how it connects with the overall scheme of things.

21. It was meant to divert law enforcement away from the Capitol
and Trump would have blamed Antifa.
Remember the MSM was pushing the narrative that Antifa was going to be there, with absolutely no proof. |

7. When the Reichstag burned in Berlin in 1933, Hitler put into effect
(ironically through democratic means) The Enabling Act, which imposed fascism upon Germany. He never rescinded it.
I would expect Trump would do something similar. |

10. There's a reason he gave orders to not deploy the National Guard.
The pipe bombs go off, there is chaos at the Capitol, Trump claims it is Antifa, and he invokes the Insurrection Act and the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers take control of the Capitol. Trump drives up to the Capitol, there are no Electoral College ballots, he thanks the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers for restoring order. He suspends the election and never allows the election to be certified.

16. Just a guess.
I think he wanted the voting to stop and then have the Supreme Court step in, void the electors and put in place the fake electors, declare him the winner. In the end his coup attempt was delusional. The military was not with him, he knew that. It he declared martial law that would have created mass chaos and I think he knew it. I think that would have backfired on him.

23. Trump lost 61 court cases,
on what grounds would the SC install fake electors? Mike Pence even knew it wasn't up to him to pick the president.
You have it backwards; Trump wanted chaos, and he got it, but he wanted more chaos. Trump wanted the bombs to go off, Trump wanted members of Congress murdered, Trump gave the order for the Guard to stand down. The domestic terrorist gangs were caught in print and on audio talking about Trump invoking the Insurrection Act. Why was there a cache of guns and ammunition just across the river waiting on Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act? Trump wanted to blame Antifa. Trump wanted the Proud Boys and Oath keepers to take over the Capitol. Trump wanted then to drive up to the Capitol and declare that the certification of the votes was suspended. This isn't rocket science. In the words of Michael Cohen, who knew Trump pretty well, Trump said that he could get away with shooting someone on 5th Avenue. Cohen said that Trump didn't mean that he would shoot someone, Cohen said Trump meant that he would get someone else to do the shooting. Cohen said that if Trump wins a 2nd term that he will have to move out of the country. |

17. A Plan? Really?
Do we have any evidence they ever had a plan for anything?
I think we'd agree they didn't even have a plan in 2016 because they didn't really expect to win. His entire life has been one big riff. I don't think he can spell plan. Now, slimeballs like Stone & Flynn may have had a plan but there's scant evidence TFG & Meadows were capable of carrying it out. |

If Trump is so stupid, how did he get 30-40% of Americans to blindly follow him? |

He has at least one personality disorder (definitely narcissistic and anti-social, possibly histrionic and borderline too). That isn't mental illness. Mental illnesses can be treated.

18. He wanted minders to happen
He wanted Pence dead and several Dems, he’s then declare martial law and say it’s just until everything gets sorted out. But it wouldn’t get sorted out in time and he’s just stay in the White House while bogus investigations occurred.
He only called off the mob after he found out the plan wasn’t going to work. |

19. Trump wanted to occupy the Capitol and take over the House and Senate.
He was so close. But the guns were over in Virginia. And the State Police and the National Guard were on their way to "clear the Capitol". Trump had no choice but to ask his people to go home.
In my opinion, their plan was to capture or assassinate top Congressional Leaders. It didn't matter if they were Democrats or Republicans. Democrats would not be permitted back into the Capitol. The remaining Republicans would vote to declare Donald Trump the new president. He would then declare martial law until the occupiers were removed from the Capitol. The military would then set a perimeter around the Capitol and no one would be permitted to enter without the permission of the junta. Maybe not surprisingly, the Republicans would have voted unanimously with their new Leader. It would have been a successful coup. |

where Magats controlled 27 states.
