Clearly the man has mental health issues. But because he also has money, his name never leaves the headlines. I wish he and TFG would JUST GO AWAY!

(61,033 posts)including being attention whores, which the money helps them get and feeds their tremendous egos/fragile mental states and the attention/publicity often generates more money from the sycophancy of followers/customers...a self-fueling circle.
Rinse and repeat.

(11,767 posts)West provides both, so while I agree with your general idea that he is an idiot and his opinions are ill informed and should likely not be listened to; the problem is that he brings in revenue so his stupidity will continue to be amplified unless that changes.

(11,767 posts)I highly doubt that a thread on DU is amplifying West in the larger picture.

(14,092 posts)he might get fed up and either go get some help for himself or, um, do something stupid to himself. Either way I would be relieved.

(40,759 posts)Open the TAB on top of the DU page, next to your name - after " My Profile" - it's "My Account." Click on it.
You see a page with 6 tabs ... like this:

1. Click on "Trash Can"
2. In the box type "Kanye" and click "Trash it"
You'll never get another story or post about Kanye West (or anyone else named Kanye).
