Two people who were on board a small plane were killed when it crashed into a house in Miramar Monday, officials.
The plane went down in the 2200 block of Jamaica Drive, not far from North Perry Airport around 11:40 a.m.

(10,054 posts)The folks there in that part of Miramar near Perry are always at risk. Constantly, the small planes at that airport keep having accidents either into homes or even into cars driving by.
*Last year, they said there were 14 crashes in just the past 5 years. I can only imagine what the updated numbers are now....

Local 10 News has since learned that a woman, Manyerenis Moreno, and her 2-year-old son Tyler Flores were inside the home at the time, but they were not injured.
I heard that big noise right on top of us. I thought it was the transformer, but I grabbed the baby and when I went outside, I saw the plane on top of the roof, Moreno said.
Moreno said she was outside just moments before the crash.
