Of the national event to offer lurid, dramatic headlines about the closeness of the race. All while avoiding the actual issues or quality of the candidates and their parties.

Pollsters don't want to be wrong, so may over-compensate from errors of the last election. May be over estimating non-college whites and under-estimating women.
