Newsmax bans Lara Logan after QAnon-style rant, condemns her words in 'the strongest terms'

The right-wing channel Newsmax has banned Lara Logan from its air after she went on a QAnon-style rant during an appearance on the network this week.

In a bizarre interview, Logan told host Eric Bolling that “the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world,” and later added that the world’s elites “want us eating insects [and] cockroaches” while they “dine on the blood of children.”

Newsmax rebuked Logan in a sharp statement to CNN on Thursday evening.

“Newsmax condemns in the strongest terms the reprehensible statements made by Lara Logan and her views do not reflect our network,” a network spokesperson said. “We have no plans to interview her again.”

when she was in the Middle East for 60mins, and her security failed her.

Them fighting to try to get her and hearing her scream.

Just network tv, leave her be. I’m not sure what happened to her, but I don’t know if she ever recovered either. I’m sure it can be found online, I just don’t want to hear or see it again.

10. Easily, it could have screwed with her way of thinking if she

didn't get good treatment or enough of it. Personally, I thought she was back on TV working really too soon sfterwards, but that was her choice.

PTSD (or underlying mental health issues that are triggered by it) can put you in some bad places with absurd thinking. Judgement0, rational thinking, etc can be affected.

But I think this story should bring to light that cults like QAnon target people who have experienced extreme trauma. This woman has been through something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Her thinking has become more extreme, maybe as a result of the attack. Maybe as a result of people who surrounded her and gave her support after the attack. Maybe fractured thinking made her more susceptible to conspiracies. It's horrific. I would like to leave Lara alone to try to get help and recover. I hope she does.
