I believe we should bomb or cyber attack the Iranian factories that build drones.

I am tired of the Iran government and their bullshit. It is being reported Iran has sent drones and trainers to Russia. We should semd a message to Iran. Stay the fuck out of the Ukraine war.

Putin is trying to turn Ukraine into a wasteland. Iran is helping them do that.

I don't think we can get away with bombing the damn place.

But what's wrong with having a smoke on the factory floor at 3am?

The US, Nato, have to make a decision. They are destroying the electric grid. They are mining a dam that can flood a huge part of Ukraine. They have control of a nuclear power plant. If we allow Iran or any country help Russia, things will get worse.

Bomb a country to stop them from supplying weapons to a war that we are supplying weapons to.

I don't suppose you are in the Air Force? Or do you want others to put their asses on the line?

I understand why you feel that way, though.

What I wonder is: what is the Quid Pro Quo? What does Russia have that Iran wants? Is it just wheat? Or is it ideological - it's an(other) opportunity to oppose the US.

Good thing * tore up the Nuclear Deal!

Iran may be motivated by more immediate considerations. Wheat, cash, maybe nuclear technology.

To control the planet's resources and to be in control of the human inhabitants.

These are the clear overreaching goals, you point out the details.

Iran is helping Russia kill Innocent civilians in Ukraine. Hundreds of drones have struck civilian targets. Iran has sent the drones and they have soldiers there training the Russians.. That's war. That's war crimes.

Maybe not bomb, but maybe cyber attack the place to disable production.

Also, we simply can't cower because we "might start a war with a county allied with Russia that 'might' have nukes".

Is that how it works? A county that might have nukes, or does have nukes, is simply allowed to blackmail and defang the entire free world?

A couple of things.

- Any country that uses nukes better understand that the full power of American military might would respond.

- If the full power of the United States military is ever brought to bear, the entire globe could be turned into a "no fly zone" in a matter of days.

Sanctions and the like are slower, but better. Attacking a sovereign nation for "supplying" wares, well, that would put US on the target board too.

Not enough at the moment, but it sounds like a lot more are on the way. It's safer to give Ukraine the means to disable the drones themselves, rather than us getting involved directly.
