Wife and I noticed drop box was gone when we went to drop off our absentee ballots In Jefferson Twp. in Hillsdale County Mi. Wife took envelope inside and hand delivered to clerk. When she came out she said ballot box was in lobby covered in tape. It was still missing today so I called to find out why. About 40 minutes ago my call was returned clerk told me they tried to steal it but when that turned into too much work they destroyed it.

Clerk told me she was shocked I said actually i wasn't but I sure as hell was angry. My county has turned in to a cesspool of hate under the watchful eye of Christian Nationalist Hillsdale College and the Republican party.

The funny thing is- that particular part of Michigan DOeSN’T even have any Democrats on the ballot; is about 4 to 1 or more (R) rural voters. Last election cast about 450 votes for Trump, and just 145 for Biden.

By destroying the ballot box, they likely destroyed more (R) votes cast then (D)’s.

So far there is nothing at local news sites to confirm this report. I’d love to get more information.

to my knowledge. Similar thing last election in North Adams, It was never gonna be in doubt yet crazies believed no one in Adams township would vote Democratic so there had to be cheating clerk allowed information to be spread. than drop box convenience. Mail in ballots are 24 hour drop off, too.

Drop boxes are exactly where shenanigans begin. Not just for voters but for intimidators. And if not under camera, votes can indeed by swiped.
