Texas secretary of state to send inspectors to observe vote counting in Harris County

The Texas GOP hates Harris County. The Texas GOP voter suppression law outlawed several innovations used by Harris County in 2020 to help voter turnout out including 24-hour voting and drive through voting. At TFG's request, there is some bogus audit of Harris Counting voting and now the GOP Texas Secretary of State is sending inspectors to observe voting in Harris County.

The Texas Secretary of State's Office has told the state’s most populous county that it will send inspectors there to observe vote counting during the November election.

In a letter Tuesday, the director of the secretary of state’s forensic audit division, Chad Ennis, told the elections administrator in Harris County, Clifford Tatum, that an audit of the county had found “serious breaches of proper elections records management” in the handling of mobile ballot boxes in the 2020 general election.

Harris County is home to Houston and leans Democratic. The letter came less than a week before the start of early voting in the state.

Ennis said preliminary findings in the secretary of state’s audit include “at least 14 locations where chain-of-custody documentation is lacking at best and missing at worst.”

In light of those findings, Ennis wrote that the secretary of state’s office will provide “a contingent of inspectors” to the county to “perform randomized checks on election records” and “observe the handling and counting of ballots and electronic media.”......

The review in Texas was launched last year after former President Donald Trump pushed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for an examination of the 2020 election results in the state, which Trump won handily. The secretary of state’s office announced hours later that it had begun reviews in Dallas and Harris counties, the two largest Democratic counties, and Tarrant and Collin counties, the two largest Republican ones.

Part of the GOP voter suppression law was increased powers for poll watchers and the Harris County GOP has recruited a ton of poll watchers. This stunt appears to be designed to disrupt the vote in Harris County

they will have marching orders to say they see poll workers pulling out boxes of ballots and dumping them in the counter, and shredding abbot ballots. they will perjure themselves to "invent" fraud to justify further anti-voting legislation. all part of the plan

Democrats have won all county wide races for a while. The GOP abolished straight ticket voting and so the party has been teaching voters to vote all of the down Ballot races

There was a news article this morning that said Texas had 500K new registered voters since the primaries. How much do you want to bet a bunch of those vote blue? Of course they are worried and want to make voting as hard as possible in the urban areas like Houston, Dallas and Austin, which always vote Democrat by a wide margin. Abbott is worried about Beto.

Soviet dictator Josef Stalin is credited with this:

“Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.”

Where will the corrupt Abbott gang be if Beto wins? That is why they are making plans now to “decide everything.” Just like their Soviet mentor told them to so many years ago.
