I early voted today in Dallas TX
1st day of early voting. Although it was raining, my voting place was packed. Parking lot was a zoo. Probably 50 or 60 vote stations inside with 2 or 3 people waiting in line at a few. I noticed that every place on the ballot was headed by the Rep candidate.

2. Can't speak for TX...
But in my state, which party gets the top line is decided by chance (they say a coin toss) and whichever party wins it is the same positioning throughout the ballot.
I think other states will put the incumbent on top and his/her party gets top position throughout the ballot. |

5. Will give it a day or two for crowds to clear here in McKinney
![]() For reference for non-Texans. McKinney is N..DFW burbs which used to be about red +20 when I moved here in 2015. It now pretty much mirrors the state as a whole, red +3-5. Kind of a bell weather. When you see burbs like Collin county flip blue, you will know TX is finally going blue. Until then, we are F'd by the MAGAts |

6. I filled out my ballot in Iowa yesterday.
Every race was headed by the Democratic candidate, even though most of the incumbents are Republican.

7. Planning on Wed at this point. Beto was here at a polling place today: "VOTE WITH BETO!" but
thought it would be crazier than it was already going to because of the first day.
