one of them said, "It's been a long day." I asked if it was because of the machines, and she said, "No, it was some people," but she would not elaborate any further. I guess some MAGAts or election deniers were pissed about the machines.
I'm sick of the lies in the R election ads, BTW. Especially the anti-Warnock ads and the pro-Walker bs.

(62,173 posts)her parents left Europe and came to the US. Being born here, she had the right to vote. I asked where they came from. "Latvia" she replied. "Oh yes, former USSR."

I voted early in-person in Northeast Georgia. I also thanked the poll workers and Board of Elections officials. They do a great job!

(79,599 posts)ATLANTA More than 1,000,000 Georgians have headed to the polls to cast their votes early, smashing midterm election records.
Election officials confirmed the milestone was passed on Tuesday afternoon. They say by next weekend, there could be as many as 2,000,000 early votes cast.
