I hope everyone is watching. He is really hitting it home hard about the loss of democracy if election deniers win. He is showing how it matters to all of us, even those of us in blue states, because we will lose our rights too.
He is having many Dems in close races on as guests, which I wish more hosts would do.
Most of all he is not spending precious air time responding to a rightwing narrative. He and his staff are setting their own narrative.

(258,842 posts)Tonight he had Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, New York Governor Kathy Hochul (who he already knew personally) and, yet again, Texas candidate for governor, Beto O'Rourke! Quite a lineup! The videos for the interviews are up in V&M for those who are interested. I was disappointed that MSNBC didn't upload his opening speech about the amazing members of Congress of the past who he knew, WWII and Vietnam vets and John Glenn who also went to space...

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
