My COVID and flu shots. Info.

I am 80, in fairly good health for my age. I have HBP (not really bad or out of control) and was diagnosed with 70% blockage in one heart vessel (diagnosed 12 years ago, just watched with meds no invasive procedure except the angiogram). Nothing special about ailments except I can't walk or run like I use to 20 years ago. Meds for BP (losartan and Lasix when needed.) Plenty of self-prescribed vitamins including D3, C, multi B, arginine, tart cherry (daily), occasional aspirin.

I had my flu shot and latest COVID shot yesterday at 1:20 PM. It is now 24 hrs later and I have nothing to report. No fever, no sore arm, no symptoms of anything except a little sleepy.

Asking those of you who have had both shots if I should expect more side affects and when? Both shots were given in the same arm and there wasn't even a swelling. I took two Tylenol upon arriving at home after the shots around 2:10 and one before bed around 11:20 PM. I drank my usual tart cherry mixed in ginger ale with my last Tylenol before bed. Everyone else in my family that had any of those shots was sick as hell from teens to on up. Just wondering if I am too relieved too soon.

Had Pfizer bivalent & flu shots in same arm.

A few days later, lymphs under arm were a bit tender. Noticeable, but not awful at all.

Only a little soreness and itching (probably from the band-aid) at the injection sites. I had mild reactions to previous Covid shots/boosters and none from this.

No side effects, mild injection site discomfort. After two days even that discomfort was gone.

We're ready!

Fired up and ready to go.

I had no symptoms at all, not even a sore arm, and my wife had mild flu-like symptoms starting about twelve hours after the injections and lasting about one day.
