predicting their doom and gloom for us, along with the Wall Street echo chamber, they could care less if Democracy in the U.S. was lost.
It is just about high gas prices and inflation, and it is all the Democrats' fault. greg valliere was on Bloomberg this morning spewing that people are concerned why "all that money is going to Ukraine, and nothing to the U.S."
Ignoring the legislation that the Democrats managed to get through.
They are the most selfish assholes in the world.

(20,591 posts)corporations are going to start paying taxes now. The Trump tax breaks for the 1% are going to go bye-bye. America's freeloaders are going to pay taxes! How unfair is that?
So they're going to do everything in their power to alarm everyone in hopes of getting the GQP back in the saddle again.
Screw 'em! Pay up, you wealthy bastards 😤.

I read yesterday that NPR is the only honest news. I also like PBS.
CNN is being turned into a Republican leaning wasteland. This week I noticed they cut off both the President and ex President Obama in the middle of their speeches, went back to senseless blathering. MSNBC carrupied Obamas full speech. And it was a barn burner on Hershel. Football player wanting to be Politician.

(24,957 posts)Republicans and Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema would be against it and blocking it and yelling "SOCIALISM!". These same "analysts" would also probably be accusing them of wanting to tank the economy and making everybody deadbeats who don't want to work.

(32,321 posts)The experts have decided to fix inflation by making people poorer, by creating more unemployment.
When people can't afford to buy things then the supply side will catch up. It is a cruel way to operate for the poor.

(22,979 posts)new GQP talking point, fuck Ukraine, give money to Americans preferably rich Americans.
Justice matters.
(9,787 posts)... while in reality, it goes to the military-industrial-complex that employs 'skilled' American workers to 'make the stuff' sent to Ukraine.
The money doesn't go to Ukraine directly, it ends up in Wall Street and in US workers' bank accounts.

Greed is another big reason.

I suspect the followers of TPOSFG will follow their leader over the cliff's edge. I think we are much smarter than that and have the votes to WIN.

I'm so sick of the American media, and mostly they've been whores since Ronald Reagan.

(114,615 posts)and don't realize there are two major ways to make money in the market: share price and dividends.
Share prices are likely to seesaw back and forth with the overall trend downward until the next Republican decides to increase the debt by another few tens of trillions by giving people who don't need them massive tax cuts. The age of fast money and the sky's the limit are coming to a close, and that's a very good thing.
Dividends, on the other hand, go up when business increases and business increases when more money gets into the hands of the people who actually do the work. And no, that 15% tax rate isn't going to cut into them appreciably. The tech companies that hid their profits overseas so they wouldn't have to pay taxes also don't pay dividends since no US profit is on the books.
What's got these guys seeing nothing but thunderclouds is the fact that the fast money years are over, the hot stock tips from now on are going to be for stodgy companies that pay their stockholders a share of the net profit. That depresses carnival barkers like Klayman and Cramer. Doom and gloom for those assholes means the market is going to go back to its normal self, one that's more sustainable.
